Meet the Band
JAMES "JAMIE" RUFUS BYRD
Jamie is the chief of the tribe. He's extremely witty and can turn anything into fun. He gets along with anyone, always making friends fast. He's the band's biggest supporter. He hasn't found his musical talent yet, but when it comes to being behind the wheel, he's a pro. He's our strongest roadie and makes sure the band can be heard with his sound man skills. When you meet him, you'll know he's a kind-hearted and dependable man.
HOLLY ANNE BYRD
Holly keeps the band on time. Whether it's by the clock or thumpin' on the upright bass, she does her job efficiently. She can easily talk to crowds and is ready to help anyone and share her love. Along with all the work she does for the band, she runs a home and homeschools her children. She starts her day with her Bible in hand. Holly loves lemon muffins and spending time with her family. She's the event scheduler and is ready for any task out in front of her.
ELLIE KATE BYRD
Contemplative, calm, and easy-going, 22 year old Ellie is the peacemaker of the family. If you need someone to talk to, she's a good listener. She has the talent for making any food taste delicious. Her dream is to one day visit the Holy Lands and a remote village. She prefers winding down the day with a blanket and her Bible. You can gain her favor with a bouquet of flowers and a box of Whoppers. She manages the YouTube page, performs vocals, and plays fiddle, mandolin, and piano.
JOLIE ANNE BYRD
Jolie keeps everything in life interesting. If you need a 20 year old, adventurous, peppy, and "just go for it" gal around, she'll happily comply. She always paves the way for her sisters, and her southern charm draws smiles from everyone. To have a huge indoor library is one of her goals. She loves reading so she's always up for recommending a good book. She enjoys studying most anything and hates mushrooms. Jolie sings, adds rhythm with guitar to the band, plays the upright bass for fun, and manages the website.
ANNIE ROSE BYRD
At 16 years old, Annie is the third child of the gang. Of the girls, she is the shyest, but once you get her laughing, it is hard for her to stop. She's good-natured, thoughtful, and a reliable person. You'll find her accomplishing any task she's given, taking off half of the icing off her cupcakes or enjoying one of her many hobbies. Annie has job security in the band when it comes to playing the banjo (she's the only one who knows how to play it) and adds a lot with harmonies and soprano vocals.
LUCIE JANE BYRD
If you've ever read "Little Women", 14 year old Lucie fits the description of Amy March perfectly. She's artistic and ambitious. Her cheerful smile is sure to make you happy. She's ready and on the double when it comes to cooking and baking (her Pumpkin Donut Muffins are absolutely fabulous!). She likes to garden and is ready to jump into anything. She has a talent for piano by ear, but plays fiddle and mandolin for the band. Lucie enjoys singing and her strong voice is a crowd-pleaser.
TITUS JAMES BYRD
Titus, the first boy in the family, is the mastermind behind all the "operations" the younger ones carry out. He easily makes friends and stands out with his perfectly, slick hair and bright, blue eyes. He's become a part of the band by adding vocals and is learning the dobro. At 12 years old, he enjoys having fun, from fishing to cooking, and all things in between.
ASHER LUKE BYRD
Asher is the cowboy of the bunch. His dream is to own a ranch or drive race cars. He's always following Daddy around and doing what he can to help. He's 10 years old, fascinated with Roy Rogers, and wants to play guitar like him. Asher is not much for singing on stage, but he loves to work with the sound equipment. He's the shy one, although when he warms up to you, you'll find he has a fun personality, and a considerate and loving heart.
LIBIE RUTH BYRD
Libie is the youngest member of the family. She has no problem winning the hearts of everyone she meets. At 7 years old, her big smile and sassy ways usually steal the show. Libie loves to sing, have tea parties, and pretty much always follow the boys wherever they lead. Her heart is won by candy and puppies.
